TABRIZ ART EXPO
Art Parisa Gallery was founded in 2018 by Parisa Karamnezhad. The gallery exhibits the works of artists from Turkey and abroad. It also aims to organize public art discussions, workshops, art education and seminars, and national and international competitions.
The main goal of Art Parisa Gallery is to host experienced and established artists and to showcase the works of emerging young artists and introduce them to the art world. The gallery was founded with the aim of representing artists from all countries, hosting different cultures, and valuing different ideas in the name of contemporary art.
In addition to the exhibition program, the gallery has an Art Shop. This shop sells art works of local and international artists, including paintings, photographs, sculptures, and all visual arts.
Parisa Karamnezhad was born in Tabriz in 1981. She started her first steps in the world of art in her childhood in the field of painting. In her youth, she had various activities such as painting, literature, skating, singing lessons, voice training, photography, but painting and photography were always at the forefront for her. She won first place in the pencil portrait section at the festival held in Tabriz at the age of 14. At the same time, Parisa, who was interested in modern styles, started to add her modern paintings to her art archive. In 1998, despite her young age, she was awarded the title of Tebriz’s best female photographer and was among the first trustees of the Tabriz Photography Association as a founding member by the Tabriz Ministry of Culture.
In 2007, she was invited to teach photography at the universities of Tabriz and Heris. After 3 years of education, she continued her education as a private education in Istanbul in order to progress in her own art projects and founded her own private art studio in Moda in 2011 and continued her art work. She has so far had 5 books and works published by different institutions. She also has a few Persian and Turkish magazines that she has been writing her dreams continuously since she was 14 years old and then designed some of them in the form of short stories.
She held 34 solo and group exhibitions in the fields of photography, painting, and sculpture, and was awarded first place at 17 national and international festivals. She was selected and her works were exhibited at the Hong Kong, Germany, England PSA and FIP festivals. In 2012, she won the Honorable Mention Award at the Mesin International Photography Competition in Turkey. One of her most important awards is the first place award at the International Rock Festival held in Serbia and the gold medal.
Nowadays, she is excited to be a gallery owner and educator, as well as drawing in her own art world, preparing and editing her first story book in Turkish and Persian for publication.
